The facility is located in the building of the former Masonic Lodge on ul. Grobla 25. The museum building was erected at the beginning of the 19th century. He was entered in the register of monuments under entry number A019 on October 22, 1953. The museum collected monuments of Greater Poland folk culture. The permanent exhibition is: Folk art in Greater Poland - sculpture, painting, clothes, embroidery, ornamentation (ceramics, wood) as well as ceremonial props and musical instruments from the 19th and 20th centuries.
