It is the largest and oldest in Poland and the fourth largest collection in Europe. On an area of ​​over 40 ha, there are over 3300 taxa of trees and shrubs, including many exotic ones. It was founded in the first half of the nineteenth century around the castle by its owner Tytus Działyński. Originally, it was a French-style garden created by Teofila Szołdrska-Potulicka née Działyński. The collection includes centuries-old specimens of native trees, mainly lime trees, beeches, and oaks, as well as well-established more than hundred-year-old copies of exotic woody magnolias, Greek firs and mud cypress trees with developed pneumatophores. You can also find collections of birches, apple and cherry as well as decorative shrubs: lilacs, forsythia, meadows, azaleas and azaleas.
