A railway line with the total length of 3850 tracks located within Poznań, belonging to the Municipal Transport Company in Poznań. It runs between the Śródka roundabout and the New Zoo, transporting approximately 200,000 passengers a year. The first Scout Children's Railway with a track width of 600 mm was established in Poznań in 1956. Its 1.5 km route ran between the Jordan Garden and Łęgi Dębińskie. The Maltanki station is located on the northwestern shore of Lake Malta in Poznań. Initially, the station building was a metal shed, under which there was a spacious pavilion, including with cash registers. In 1998 a stylish station building with a restaurant was opened. The building was built in a half-timbered structure, characteristic of old buildings in Greater Poland. The next stops are Ptyś, Balbinka and Zwierzyniec.
