The Botanical Garden in Poznań is a scientific and educational institution of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, located in the western part of the city, the Ogrody district. At the same time, it acts as a public park, it is a space for cultural meetings and artistic events. It is one of the most beautiful places in this city, it has documented plant collections, serving scientific, didactic and educational purposes presented in 10 thematic sections. In addition, it presents a wide educational and cultural offer, including lectures, courses, workshops, field classes, festivals, fairs, trips and exhibitions. In the central part of the park there is an Exhibition and Education Pavilion, and nearby there is a historic, wooden Summer Pavilion.
