Address: rzeka Cybina , Poznań
Also called the Cybiński or Śródecki Bridge. It acts as a foot and bicycle bridge on the Cybina River, within the administrative boundaries of the city of Poznań, on the site of the former crossing. The reconstructed today's bridge received the name of Bishop Jordan, the first bishop of the diocese of Poznań and Poland. The crossing here existed since the Middle Ages. A description of a wooden bridge from the mid-nineteenth century is known: it was a 46-meter-long structure supported by five pillars. When the Poznań Fortress was established, it became a bottleneck in the communication system. It was the only civilian entrance to the city from the east, in which communication routes leading to the Warsaw and Bydgoszcz gates were connected. Only during high water levels, when the bridge was in danger of collapsing, and in subsequent renovations, did the military authorities reluctantly provide access to the Cathedral Lock. The so-called '' padlocks of love ''. There are about a few hundred of them. The bridge is also a popular place for newlyweds photo sessions.
