Sierakowski Landscape Park

Go to map

The park's task is to protect the postglacial landscape with numerous moraine hills, lake gutters, river valleys, dunes and extensive forest complexes. Sierakowski Landscape Park is located in its northern part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, near the Notecka Forest. The park was created on extensive hilly forest areas, of which over 7% are lakes and rivers. The park protects the unique post-glacial landscape full of moraine hills, dunes and lake gutters and river valleys. It is covered with forests, mainly mixed forests and beech forests in the southern part, while in the northern one there are more dunes, on which pine forests were located. Both parts are separated by the Warta park flowing through the north.
