An important part of the Jastrowie-Złotów railway line was once a hanging railway bridge. The railway track no longer exists, but the bridge is really worth seeing. The structure rotated after detonation makes a staggering impression. She is eagerly photographed, and even bolder tourists even try to walk after her. There are several versions of the story of its destruction, they all have a common war background. The bridge was blown up by the retreating German army in 1945, and the entire railway line was never rebuilt. The Russians dismantled her shortly after the war and, as captured German property, took her somewhere deep into her great country. They did not take the bridge because its demolition would require too much investment and overcoming technical difficulties. And so it has remained to this day, constituting a sightseeing curiosity for motorized and rafting tourists. The structure tilted after the explosion makes quite an amazing impression, especially when we look at it from below, from under one of the abutments. To view it, it is worth stopping the car in a small parking lot on the right bank of the river, from the side of Jastrowie. There is also a board informing about the history of the structure. From the parking lot, it's best to get to the bridge over the railway embankment, which is preserved in good condition.
